NHY'S INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM

The Nevada Homes for Youth Independent Living Program (ILP) provides affordable transitional housing and supportive resources for young adults working toward independent living and long-term stability. Designed to create more than just housing, the program offers a structured, encouraging environment where residents can build confidence, develop responsibility, and gain the life skills needed to succeed on their own.

Residents have access to fully furnished living spaces and shared community amenities designed to support both personal growth and daily living. Through workshops, mentorship, and community support, participants are encouraged to strengthen important skills including financial responsibility, employment readiness, education planning, communication, and self-sufficiency.

Our goal is to provide young adults with a safe, stable environment where they can pursue personal goals, build meaningful life skills, and take positive steps toward a successful future.
